1/3 cup lemon juice
2 eggs yolks
1 can Eagle Brand milk

Meringue:
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
6 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix lemon juice, egg yolks, and Eagle Brand milk. Pour into pie crust.

Meringue:
1) Beat egg whites and salt until frothy. Whites will whip fluffier if they are at room temp.
2) Beat in sugar, 1Tbsp at a time. Beat until the meringue is stiff and glossy and sugar has dissolved.
3) Add vanilla flavoring - beat only enough to blend.

Makes meringue for 9-inch pie.

Place in 350 º oven until tips of meringue start to turn brown.
