Ingredients: 1 21-oz. can No-sugar added cherry pie filling 1 1/2 cups boiling water 1 8-serving package sugar-free cherry flavor gelatin 1 1/2 cups cold water 4 cups sugar-free angel food cake -- cut into 1/2" cubes 3 cups cold milk 2 4-serving packages sugar-free vanilla instant pudding mix 1 8-oz. tub sugar-free Cool Whip topping, thawed

Directions:Reserve 1/3 cup cherry pie filling for garnish, set aside. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water and remaining cherry pie filling. Refrigerate 45 minutes or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites ).
Place half of cake cubes in trifle bowl. Spoon half of gelatin mixture over cake.
Pour milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Spoon half over gelatin mixture in bowl. Repeat layers with remaining cake cubes, gelatin, and pudding. Top with remaining whipped topping and garnish with reserved cherry pie filling. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
Makes 18 servings, 2/3 cup each. |
