4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c dark brown sugar
½ lb. butter
3 t soda
3½ c flour
2 T sweet milk
1½ lb. raisins
1¼ lb. pecans
½ lb. mixed dried fruit
1 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
1 t cloves
¾ c whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325° F. Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper. In mixing bowl with electric mixer, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in eggs until well blended. Sift flour and soda together. Add to egg mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned. Store cookies in airtight container or freeze for 4 to 6 months. Recipe makes about 7 dozen.
