4 lbs cubed potatoes
1 cube butter
1 small chopped onion
4 stalks diced celery
salt and pepper to taste
water to cover
½ cup flour
1 cup milk
Bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Cover veggies, spices and butter with water and cook until tender. Blend flour and milk then add to soup stirring constantly until soup thickens. Fry bacon and crumble into soup.

Variation: add carrots, peas, cheddar cheese, green peppers or corn. Use ham in place of bacon.
