Mix:
Juice of 2 lemons
1 cup of sugar
2 heaping Tbsp of flour

then add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
Cooling until it thickens

Add: Zest from lemons and 2 Tbsp of butter (or oil) Let cool

Good on plain cake layers of gingerbread
