Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs. cube or round steak
1 stick of butter
1 medium onion
2 tbs. lemon pepper
2 tbs. season salt
1 tbs. black pepper
1/4 c. worcestershire sauce
tabasco sauce

High End Buns

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onion into large chunks and set aside.

Heat 2 tbs butter in a skillet. Add onion and allow to cook/brown for about 5-7 minutes.

While onions are cooking, slice cube steak into 1" strips. Sprinkle with season salt, lemon pepper, and black pepper. Set aside.

When onions are golden and soft, remove from the pan and set to the side. Add 2 tbs butter to the skillet and allow to melt Place strips of meat in the bottom of the pan making sure to only have one layer of meat on the bottom of the pan and allowing it to cook for about 1 minute before turning it over to the other side. Continue this process until all your meat is cooked.

When all of the meat is cooked, add 2 more tbs of butter to the pan, worcestershire sauce, and tabasco sauce to taste. (I usually add about 2 tbs.) Add the onions you cooked and removed earlier along with any meat you had set aside. Cover and simmer for about 5-10 minutes. It will smell delicious!

Now, with the remaining butter, generously butter your buns and toast them.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Round steak is one of the cheapest "steaks" you can find, but I get tired of making chicken fried steak, steak fingers, or fajitas with it. One day, I was searching through the Pioneer Woman's recipes and I found this sandwich. My whole family loves it. It's a quick and fairly inexpensive meal.
