2 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Glaze:
1/2 cup butter
2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Cover and chill.

Heat oven to 375º. Drop by TBLS onto ungreased sheet. Bake 10 min.

To make glaze, heat butter over low heat until golden color. Remove from heat. Blend 2 sups powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir in 2-4 TBLS hot water. Spread over top of cookies.
