Ingredients:
2 lbs. Pork sausage links
1 Lg 28 ounce can of tomatoes
Crackers, coarsely crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
2-3 tablespoons melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Put pork sausage links in frying pan deep enough to cover the links with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Poke links with fork to allow some of the fat to escape. Drain sausage links.

Butter a 2 ½ Qt. or larger casserole dish. Add ½ the can of tomatoes (somewhat smooshed) and the a layer of the crackers (half of them) and then all the pork sausage. Add the rest of the tomatoes. Add salt and pepper and the rest of the crackers. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of butter or margarine over the top of the crackers.
Bake at 350º degrees for one hour.

Serve with a vegetable and baked or boiled potatoes.

The trick is to add enough crushed crackers so the crackers and the tomatoes (inside, not on top) turn into a kind of thick gooey mixture.
