3 quarts of applesauce. You can use a #10 institutional sized can of unsweetened applesauce
2 c apple cider
1 1/2 c white sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon-2 tblsp is what I use
1/2 tsp cloves-1 tsp is what I use
Note: while this is the original recipe, I usually add more spices than listed above and add some ginger and nutmeg

Stir all ingredients together in a large shallow pan. Bake, uncovered in in pre-heated 350 deg oven abt 3 hrs, stirring occasionally or until desired thickness.
Store in refrigerator or seal in canning jar and process in boiling water bath 10 minutes
