1 pkg lime jello
1 small carton cottage cheese
1 c crushed pineapple
1/2 c miracle whip salad dressing
1/2 c whipped cream
1/2 c chopped pecans-optional

Directions:
Directions:
Set jello with 1 3/4 c water using part pineapple juice.
When cool add cottage cheese and dash of salt.
When begins to congeal, add pineapple and fold in the salad dressing and whipped cream
Refrigerate till set

Aww---the old Gelatin salad. What holiday table from the 1930's-to 1960's wouldn't have had some kind of Jello salad.
I know our family certainly did and this is a good one.
Mom either served this or the Orange Jello salad
