6 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
2 or 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
One medium onion, finely chopped
One 16 ounce pkg frozen corn (I sometimes add a can of Niblets Corn as well
One quart Light Cream and a pint of Fat Free Half/Half
Garlic Salt
Paprika
Fresh ground Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute bacon pieces and chopped onion until onions are soft and bacon is cooked to your liking. Drain off fat and set aside.
Boil potato cubes until fork tender.
In a large pot, combine bacon, onions, potatoes and corn. Add as much cream and half/half as you wish, depending on how thick you like your soup. To cut down on fat content and calorie count, use milk in place of some of the cream.
Add about a tsp. each of Garlic Salt and Paprika. Add fresh ground Pepper to your taste.
Heat the soup over low heat stirring frequently to prevent scalding. Add additional seasoning as needed.
