1 quart fine salt
1 lb Light Brown sugar
3 oz. of salt peter

Directions:

Mix the above thoroughly and rub into the meat. This is enough for around 100 lbs. of meat. Dry salt later about a week to ten days after the first application. It will be ready to smoke in 3 weeks.
