2 tablespoons raw rice
¼ cup sugar
2 cups milk
½ cup raisins seedless
¼ tsp. salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Wash rice thoroughly and drain. Place in a buttered pudding dish and pour in milk. Bake covered in a slow oven (250 degrees) about 1½ hrs. stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients and bake from ½ to 1 hr. longer. Do not stir after adding remaining ingredients but allow to become a golden brown on top. Serves 6.
