six tablespoons cocoa
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
2 rounding tbsp butter
1 beaten egg
1 cup sour milk
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla



Directions:
Directions:
Put six tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup boiling water in a sauce pan and boil until a thick paste.
Mix 2 cups sugar, 2 rounding tbsp butter, 1 beaten egg and 1 cup sour milk together.
Add 3 cups sifted flour with 2 tsp soda. Mix in the cooled cocoa and 1 tsp vanilla last.
