8 cups sliced cucumber—medium size
2 or 2˝ cups sliced onions
4 green peppers—1 red pepper
salt with 2 tablespoonfuls salt.
3 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
1˝ tsp celery seed
˝ tsp tumeric

Let stand one hour. Drain off liquid.

Mix 3 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
1˝ tsp celery seed
˝ tsp tumeric
Put this on pickle mixture and cook until tender.
