COOKIE DOUGH
7 cups flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup cocoa

1 1/2 cups Crisco
grated peel of 1 large orange
1/2 cup OJ

6 eggs
1/2 - 3/4 oz of Amaretto
3/4 oz vanilla

ICING
juice of 1 big orange or 2 clementines
approx. 1/4 cup of Amaretto
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/2 box of 10X sugar

COOKIES
*In large bowl, mix dry ingredients
*Add Crisco and blend until pebbly
*Make a well in the pebbly mixture - set aside
*In blender - beat eggs, Amaretto, peel of orange, OJ, & vanilla till frothy
*Pour frothy egg mixture into pebbly dry ingredients well and mix up
*Add bread hook to your kitchen aid mixer
*Take sticky dough & knead it with the bread hook until the dough shines or if you don't have a kitchen aid, knead until shiny
*Let sit for 30 minutes, cover with towel
*Make tablespoon size balls & drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet
*Bake for approx. 10 minutes at 375 degrees / let completely cool

ICING
*Mix all ingredients
*Once cookie is cool, dip or brush each cookie with icing
*Let cool on wax paper
