Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 qt. warm water
1 T. yeast
½ c. sugar
2 cups flour

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in the warm water and sugar. Add 2 cups of flour. Mix well. This will make a thin paste. Cover and let it raise until the mixture is all bubbly (apx. 1-2 hours)

Then add:
1 c. oil
2 T. salt and 5 cups of flour. Mix well. Dough will begin to get stiff. Continue adding flour to make a stiff dough. Pour the dough out onto the table. Begin kneading it with your hands adding flour as needed. Knead for about 8-10 minutes. The dough will become very smooth and elastic when it is ready. Put the dough back into the bowl and cover. Let it raise in a warm place. When the dough has about doubled in size (2-3 hours), remove it from the bowl and divide it into fourths. Shape into loaves and place in four loaf pans sprayed with Pam. Let raise again. When the dough is to the desired height, bake in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 40 minutes. When they are done, remove the loaves from the pans and spread some butter on the tops of each loaf.
