Directions:
Directions:
These directions are me watching her fry chicken as a little girl. After your chicken pieces are cut up, roll them in flour until well coated. Place in cast iron frying pan with about 1/3 inch lard or grease. Brown all pieces, removing to add more until all pieces are browned. Return all pieces of chicken to frying pan and turn burner to medium low and cover with lid. Let chicken cook and steam until throughly cooked. Remove cooked chicken and add about a 1/2 cup flour to grease and drippings in frying pan. Stir and mix into grease. Add milk to make gravy. Serve over mashed potatoes for the best Sunday dinner you will ever eat. Best if also served with green beans cooked with bacon grease!
