1 cup butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
walnut halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Then add to mixture. Shape into balls. Add a little milk if dough is to stiff. Roll balls in mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Put a walnut on each cookie before baking. Grease cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes.
