Meatballs
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. dried parsley
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 chopped sm. onion
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

Gravy
1 med. chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
oil
3 Tbs oil (remaining after frying meatballs)
3 Tbs Flour
water,
salt & pepper to taste

Mix meatball ingredients together. Roll into small balls, then roll in flour and flatten. Fry until brown in an iron skillet with enough oil to keep the meatballs from sticking. Remove meatballs from skillet onto a paper towel. Make a roux by leaving 3 Tbs oil after frying meatballs and adding flour. Brown on low until the color of a pecan. When browned add onion to roux cook until tender. Add enough water until right thickness. The gravy will thicken as it cooks. Add salt and pepper to taste and simmer. Serve over rice.

This is the first recipe that I ever cooked on my own away from home. I cooked this for my Aunt Janise & Uncle Kenny Maxwell on one of my vacation to visit them in New Jersey.
