2 lb. beef stew meat
salt & pepper
Flour
2 Tbs. oil
4 c. boiling water
1 lg. onion
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs. lemon juice
2 bay leaves
1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic power
1 Tbs. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
Sliced carrots
Cubed potatoes
Pearl onions

Serve with cooked rice

Season beef with salt and pepper. Dredge beef in flour. Heat oil in a large Dutch oven; and brown beef. Remove beef from pot; set aside. Place onion in pot and sauté until translucent. Return beef to pot along with remaining ingredients except vegetables. Simmer for at least 1 hour. Add vegetables and simmer with vegetables until tender. Remove bay leaf before serving. Server over cooked rice.
