1/2 c allsweet melted
1 egg beaten
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c sifted flour
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 c milk
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine allsweet, egg, sugar, and vanilla. Beat. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients and milk. Add nuts. Drop from teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake in a hot oven (400ºF) for about 10 min. Pack cookies in baskets, boxes or painted coffee tins, using marshmallow candies as padding to keep cookies intact during travel.
