1 cup butter
3 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yoke
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
mix butter and cream cheese until blended, stir in sugar, beat until fluffy

beat in egg yoke and vanilla

stir in flour, mix well

drop by tsps. on ungreased cookie sheet, top each with nuts or candied cherries

bake 375º 12-15 minutes
