1 Angel Food Cake
1 1/2 C half & half
3/4 C sugar
1 Tbsp. flour, rounded
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 envelope Knox gelatin ( dissolved in 1/4 C cold water
8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Heat half & half on stove to just below boiling. Add sugar and flour. Heat until thick and bubbling. Add egg yolks a little at a time. Remove from heat and add Knox gelatin that has been dissolved in 1/4 C cold water and beat a little with mixer. Cover and cool in fridge. When ready to frost the cake, beat a little, then fold in whipped cream. Do NOT USE COOL WHIP. Slice cake into 2 layers. Frost between layers, then frost the entire cake. Keep refrigerated.
