1 yeast cake
1/2 cup warm water
2 tsp sugar
3 cups warm water
1/4 cup oil
6 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 - 2 cups white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast cake in 1/2 cup warm water with sugar. Mix 3 cups warm water with oil. Add yeast and water, whole wheat flour, and salt. Mix by hand. Add less than 1 1/2 to 2 cups white flour. Let rise for 1 hour. Divide into 3 loaves. Let rise in pans again. Bake 425ºF for 15 minutes and 320ºF for 50 minutes.
