2 tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 - 369 ml. tomato paste
4 cans tomatoes (mixture of diced and crushed)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 tsp. oregano
2 large bay leaves
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. granulated garlic
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
In a large Dutch oven pot, heat oil; sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add all other ingredients and stir. Simmer over low heat for 2 to 3 hours. If desired after one hour add cooked or frozen meatballs and/or bite-size Italian sausage and allow them to cook along with the sauce.
