4 cups Flour
4 cups oats
3 cups brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 ½ cups butter
12 oz chocolate chips
1 cups chopped nuts
1 (20 oz) jar Mrs. Richardson’s Caramel sauce (for ice cream)
3 Tbsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixer cream butter, add brown sugar, soda, and salt. Add flour and oats, mixing until smooth. Divide dough in half and put half in the bottom of a greased 13 X 18 cookie sheet. Pat down and then roll with a rolling pin until smooth and even. Bake for 10 minutes at 350ºF. Take out of oven and while warm sprinkle on chocolate chips and nuts. Warm caramel sauce in microwave and mix with 3 Tbsp flour. Pour sauce over chips. Put remaining dough on top in little spoonfuls and pat down lightly. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 350ºF. Let cool completely before cutting. Cut into 48 squares. Can be made the day before.
