1 T. butter
3/4 cup onion, chopped
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. fine egg noodles (I like the Chinese noodles)
1 tsp. salt
2-10 oz. packages of chopped broccoli
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
6 cups milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 tsp. pepper (1 tsp. if you are not a big fan of pepper)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter and sauté onions in it in a large pot. Add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil. Gradually add noodles and salt and cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli and garlic powder and cook for another 3 minutes. Add milk, then cheese and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts. Let set a while before serving.
