8 slices bread
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb pork sausage
4 large eggs, beaten
2 cups whole milk
1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Use a greased 8x11 inch baking dish. Place brad slices as a liner in bottom of dish, then the cheese, and then the sausage. Sprinkle these evenly over the bread.

Mix together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese. Cover and chill overnight.

When ready to serve, bake covered at 350º for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for five or more minutes.
