1&1/3 cup of light brown sugar
1 cup butter (3/4 cup butter for cookies and 1/4 cup for icing)
2 eggs
1 orange:
2 tsp grated orange rind
1/2 cup orange juice
2&2/3 cup flour
2/3 tsp baking soda
1&1/3 tsp baking powder
1 lemon (grated rind + juice)
2 cups powdered sugar
Milk
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Cream brown sugar and 3/4 cup butter
Beat in 2 eggs
Add orange rind and juice
Blend gradually the flour, soda, powder
Bake 8-10 min
Don't even think about adding the icing until completely cool!

Lemon icing:
Blend 2 cups powdered sugar and 1/4 cup butter
Beat in lemon rind and juice
Add enough milk to get icing to the right consistency
