Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 tsp. yeast – dissolved in ˝ cup warm water w/ 1 tsp. sugar
˝ cup oil (canola or vegetable)
˝ cup sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 cup canned milk
1 cup hot water
4 eggs
8 cups flour – more or less

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350°F for 20-25 min, until light brown (This was as far as the original recipe went.)

Here are the notes I’ve added:
*Dissolve yeast first*
Mix together; oil, sugar, salt, canned milk and hot milk. Add dissolved yeast and eggs. Mix in 4 cups of the flour, 1 cup at a time. Some days you will need more or less flour – usually depends on the weather.
*Let dough rise in a large greased (Crisco) bowl. Rub dough ball in the Crisco and place the greased side up so dough doesn’t dry out as it rises. Cover bowl. (I use the large Tupperware bowl with lid)
*Punch down dough and form rolls – however you like them.
*Spray pan with Pam© cooking spray. I rub the top of the roll in the spray and set that side up to prevent drying.
*Cover with towel and let rise.
*Bake at least 20 min. When done, rub tops with butter

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
For family gatherings, I make 2 batches or at least 1 ˝ . 1 batch makes about 72 rolls (depending on size). 48 rolls per pan (my pans are 15”x10”)
*Timing: Plan 3 hours: 20-30 min. to mix dough, 1 hour to rise, 20-30 min to form rolls, 1 hour to rise
Original recipe: Margaret Dindinger (Juneau, AK)
