3 1/2-4 lbs. of hamburger
2 cups- dry rice
7-8 cloves of garlic
2 medium onion
2 jars of canned tomatoes
Italian seasoning
2 head of cabbage
1 package of bacon
Pepper, garlic salt and Italian seasoning to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Chop up garlic and onions in blender-add a small amount of water
Blend until creamy

Cook rice until tender-put a little bit of olive oil in the water so it does not stick

Divide rice in half-pour in creamed garlic/onion mixture
Season with pepper, garlic salt and Italian seasoning

Put ½ hamburger in rice mixture
Add pepper and garlic salt
Put rest of rice on top and then rest of hamburger
Put pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning, top with a small amount of parsley
Mix well

Fill large pot half with water, boil
Core cabbage, put in water to boil
Boil until leaves are tender-about ½ hour
Take cabbage out and pull top tender leaves off, put rest of head back in pot to cook

Cut thick vein of cabbage leaf so that it is the same thickness as rest of leaf
Stuff cabbage with mixture by putting 1-2 spoonfuls at the end of the leaf, roll once, fold over sides and continue rolling

Line roaster with extra cabbage leaves and put halupki on top of leaves in roaster
When first layer of halupki is in roaster, pour 1 jar of canned tomatoes on top and finish with 5-6 strips of bacon; continue for 2nd row
Finally, cover entire roaster with cabbage leaves

Put 2 oven proof plates on top of halupki

Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours
