1 3/4 c. rolled oats
2 c. whole wheat flour (freshlly ground is best)
2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
1 1/4 t. salt
4 T. honey
3 eggs
3 c. milk
3-4 T. applesauce
2 large apples (or 3 small)
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Combine oats and milk and refridgerate overnight.

In the morning, combine dry and wet ingredients in separate
bowls, and blend both well. Oats and milk mixture are part of
the wet ingredients.

Peel, core, and chop apples into small pieces.

Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir well. Add the
chopped apple and pecans.

Fry on a hot, lightly greased griddle, until golden brown.

Serve hot with pure maple syrup and sausages.
