2 Cups raisins
1 Cup water
1 Cup butter
1 3/4 Cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
4 Cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg


Directions:
Directions:
Heat raisins and water until boiling, boil about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Stir in raisins, water and nuts.
Whisk together dry ingredients and add to the above.
Bake 350º 10-12 minutes
