3 Eggs (well beaten)
1 t vanilla
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 t cinnamon
2 c quick cooking oatmeal
1 c raisins (or craisins)
1 c butter flavored crisco
2 3/4 c flour
1/2 t salt
2 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs raisins and vanilla, cover with plastic wrap and let set one hour. Cream together shortening and sugars (2 minutes on medium). Add flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda to mixture. Mix well. Blend in egg/raisin mixture, then add oatmeal. Dough will be thick. Drop by heaping spoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
