8 to 9 cups peeled and quartered potatoes (about 4 lbs.)
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 8 oz. carton French Onion dip (use French Onion Heluva Good Dip)
Paprika

Optional ingredients:
1/2 lb Bacon, cooked to brown crisp, paper towel drained & crumbled
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Mash potatoes with butter, milk, salt and pepper until smooth. Add cream cheese and onion dip; mix well. Add optional bacon and cheddar cheese and mix in. Sprinkle extra cheese on top too.

Spread is a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

Bake, uncovered, at 350º for 50 to 60 minutes or until heated through.
