1 c Crisco (butter flavor)
1 egg
1 c sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c sifted flour
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together Crisco, sugar, egg, and 1/4 tsp salt. Add 2 c sifted flour, cream of tartar, soda and tsp. vanilla. Roll dough out on waxed paper and use favorite cookie cutter.(tip:dough will rise, so roll fairly thin.) Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
