Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 squares of unsweetened chocolate
3 cups of sugar
1 cup of milk (2% or whole)
3 tbsp. butter (or the size of an egg)
1 tsp. of vanilla
2 heaping tbsp. of marshmallow fluff
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 8 x 8 greased nonstick pan or glass baking dish

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy bottomed saucepan combine chocolate, sugar and milk and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to soft ball stage. (I believe this is when a small drop placed in water forms a ball shape)

Turn off heat, remove pan from heat and add vanilla and fluff. Place the pan into a bowl of water in the sink (the water should come about 2 inches up the side of the pan), using a blender on high whip the fudge mixture until it gets thicker and a bit more dull looking. Also at this time add nuts if you'd like. Immediately turn mixture into the greased pan. Let set, cut into small squares and enjoy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe has been loved for generations now. I remember enjoying this sweet delicacy at the holidays. Aunt Karen has a special gift in preparing this recipe and it is hers more than Great Gramma's preparation of it that I remember but that is mostly because I was one of the younger siblings and didn't get to spend as much time with Great Gramma Holmes as my older sister's did.
