2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
2 baking powder
1/2 c. milk
whipping cream
strawberries, sliced

Directions:
Bake 350ºF 20-25 min. Cool on rack. Cut into big square pieces and slit horizontal and fill with whip cream and strawberries and top with the same. 9x13" pan
