3/4 C butter
3/4 C brown sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 C milk
2 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
Granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter until soft; gradually blend in brown sugar, creaming after each addition. Add melted chocolate, egg and vanilla. Beat well; stir in milk slowly. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda into creamed mixture. Chill dough. Form dough into marble-sized balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
