1 cup sultana raisins
1 3/4 cup half and half cream milk. ( pinch of baking soda in the milk so it does not curdle)
3/4 cup brown sugar
Pinch of salt
3 well beaten egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp butter
21/2 tbsp flour
1 baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Cover washed raisins with water and boil down well. Add cream milk with baking soda. Mix brown sugar, flour and salt then add to warm mixture and cook until thick. Add well beaten egg yolks and cook a little longer. Take off stove, add vanilla and butter. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue made with 3 egg whites, beaten with 3 tbsp sugar . Bake at 400º until slightly brown.
