¼ lb. bacon-chopper
8 cups water
1 tbs. salt
2 cups diced carrots
2 cups diced celery
2 cups chopped onions
4 cups diced potatoes
1 can tomato soup
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. thyme
2-3 cans chopped or minced clams
1 ½ tbs. flour

Directions:
Brown bacon, add water and salt. Simmer for 5 min. Add carrots, celery, and onions- simmer for 20 min. Add potatoes, soup, pepper and thyme. Cook additional 20 min. Add clams- cook 10 min more. Thicken with flour.
