1 c Sugar
2 c Brown Sugar
2 tbsp. Backing Power
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. Allspice
2 tbsp Cloves
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c Crisco or Butter
3 eggs
1 c Molasses
Ginger to taste (apporx. 3 tsp. is a good start)
Flour till stiff

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients except Flour in a large bowl (recommend very good mixer, we use a kitchenAid but did by hand for many years)
Add liquid ingredients
Add Flour to stiffen

Roll and use any cookie cutter
Place on a sprayed cookie sheet
Bake at 350º deg 8 to 10min or until when tested nothing comes out
