Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I was in New York and found a great bakery with the best brownies. They wre kind of pricey, but so worth it! When I came home, I made these based on those I found in the big City. So, we call them New York brownies.

There are a lot of adaptations you can do with these. Add flavors to the buttercream frosting such as mint. You can mix the buttercream frosting with peanut butter if you like. Add peanuts to the peanut butter mixture.

You can add cocoa powder to the buttercream and make chocolate buttercream frosting.

Substitute a caramel frosting for the buttercream frosting.

You can also break pieces of candy bar and put it in the buttercream frosting.

Be creative! Enjoy.

This is one of my husband's recommended recipes.
