Notes: While able to cook in oven, this may also be cooked on an outdoor grill as long as grill has a temperature gauge. When you've "had it" during the holidays with turkey and ham, beef tenderloin is a welcomed sight. This recipe was given to me by Colonel Avery Rogers who was the father of my friend Becky Rogers. Colonel Rogers was a grill master and many of my evenings in high school were spent with the Rogers family "grilling out." Colonel and Mrs. Rogers moved to Hot Springs in 1978, but I used to go and visit with them periodically when Becky was also in town visiting from her home in South Carolina.
