2 Golden Delicious Apples
1 Macintosh apple
1 Honeycrisp Apple

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, quarter and core apples. Place in microwae safe bowl with 1 cup water. Cover, cook on high for 3-5 minutes or until apples are just soft.

Drain water, mash with fork - there will still be some unmashale chunks. Cover again and return to microwave, cook on high 3 more minutes Mash and whip with fork. Serve warm with or without cinnamon sugar.

We used to publish the Shopper's Newsletter, which included recipes. This one ran on December 3, 1998. We credited Cindy LaMaster with the recipe, but today she claims she doesn't recognize it. Ah, well. Who doesn't like homemade applesauce?
