1 1/2 lbs. Italian Fontina, rind removed and 1 inch diced
1/4 c. olive oil
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 T. minced fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp. minced fresh rosemary leaves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 crusty French baguette

Directions:
preheat broiler and position rack 5 inches from heat
distribute fontina cubes evenly in 12 inch cast iron pan
drizzle olive oil over it
combine garlic, thyme and rosemary and sprinkle over the cheese
sprinkle with salt and pepper
place pan under broiler for 6 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly and starting to brown
serve family style from pan with crusty chunks of bread
