Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 lb bag of yellow onions
butter
One box of corkscrew noodles
2 large containers of small curd cottage cheese
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Dice onions. Sautéed onions in 1/4 to 1 stick of butter until golden brown depending on your tolerance. I usually cook in 1/2 stick and then add additional 1/2 stick to onions when finished. Salt.
Cook noodles. The secret to this recipe is that you cook the noodles until they almost cannot hold their shape. Grandma has cooked them for 30 minutes at times. Drain and return to pan.
If onions are no longer hot, reheat.
Mix hot noodles, onions and cottage cheese until mixed evenly.
Enjoy !
