Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 1/2 c. Corn flakes
33 large marshmellows
1 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. Green food coloring
Red hot candies

Directions:
Directions:
Measure out the corn flakes in a bowl.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add in the marshmellows, stir until melted. Add in the green food coloring.

Pour the marshmellow mixture over the corn flakes, stir well.

Immediately, scoop out mounds, about 2 inches wide, onto waxed paper. Place 3 red hot candies on the cookies in a pattern to look like holly.

Let cool. They'll be sticky and green, and surprisingly tasty. They look beautiful on a Christmas tray of cookes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I was first given this recipe by my friend Debi Methfessel in college. It's become a family favorite.

Because the marshmellow mixture hardens quickly, it's best done with two people. One person scoops out the mounds of green corn flakes, and the other person places the red hot candies.
