4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 tbs sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tbs white vinegar
1 egg
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
With fork, mix together flour shortening, sugar and salt. In a separate dish beat remaining ingredients. Combine the 2 mixtures, stirring with fork until moistened; you may have to knead to get it all combine - but not too much! With hands mold dough in a ball. Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling out.

Dough can be left in refrigerator for at least 3 days or frozen until ready to use.

Makes 4 crusts or two pies.
